WaveMon RF-60 Personal RF Field Exposure Monitoring Instrument

WaveMon RF-60Personal RF field strength exposure monitoring device is a portable testing and alarm equipment mainly used for timely and safe alarm protection of electromagnetic radiation. It can continuously record measurement data and communicate with the device through a USB port to download the recorded data, making it easy to create monitoring reports.

Function Description:

1) Convenience and safety

We have equipped an accessory that allows you to secure the personal monitor to your seatbelt, arm, or waist belt, or hold it in your hand to keep it near the radiation source, and then easily put it back in place. You can also use a small mountain buckle to secure it to prevent it from falling.

2) Alarm for instantaneous and average values

WaveMon RF-60It is the only personal RF monitor that can simultaneously provide average and instantaneous value alarms.

3) User configurable alerts

Overexposure alarms can be set by adjusting all parameters through a PC. Two different alarms can be programmed and personalized separately. The following basic parameters can be personalized:

l Alarm level (percentage of limit)

l Alarm type (sound, vibration, or both)

4) Weighted response

WaveMon RF-60It is based on the selection of weighted responses for direct comparison in ICNIRP, European Directive 2013/35/EU, FCC Safety Regulation 6 (2015), and NATO. WaveMon RF-60 gives specific weighted responses for each standard rather than just a single model, aiming to follow the limits of applicable standards to improve accuracy.

5) Low frequency immunity

Experience has shown that personal RF monitors with weak immunity to low frequencies will emit false alarms near high-voltage lines or other types of powerful electrical equipment.

WaveMon RF-60It is a personal monitor with the best anti-interference performance, which can operate under electric field strength conditions of up to 30 kV/m at 50/60 Hz without giving false readings of non-existent RF levels. For example, this is better than the occupational exposure limit set by ICNIRP: 20 kV/m.

When a personal monitor is worn on the body (which is the most common way), the electromagnetic field reflection from the body itself can affect the measurement and impair its accuracy. The fixed device of WaveMon RF-60 contains RF absorbing material to reduce this effect. When the device is located in a fixed device next to the body, the absorbent material will cleverly be between the sensor and the body, but when it is used away from the body, outside the fixed device, the material will not exist, and WaveMon RF-60 will give isotropic results.

WaveMon RF-60It is the only personal monitor equipped with GPS and altimeter for geographic positioning. For example, in a high-pressure tower, GPS will provide the tower's geographic location, while an altimeter will provide the relative height above the ground.
